Goal: ConnectHIV seeks to complement existing HIV prevention efforts and is designed to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS by supporting integrated approaches that bring together prevention, access to care as well as treatment. To do so, ConnectHIV:
- Supports programs for both HIV- and HIV+ individuals that address interconnected HIV/AIDS challenges such as stigma, substance abuse and mental health issues as well as access to high-quality care and adherence to treatment regimens.
- Provides technical assistance and networking opportunities to support the successful implementation of ConnectHIV programs.
Start Date: April 1, 2007
Commitment: $7.5m over 3 years
